MORE THAN 700 HIGH TECH RADARS 
WILL BE INSTALLED ON ABU DHABI ROADS

Abu Dhabi Police will install more than 700 new high technology traffic radars on the Abu Dhabi Emirates roads, this is in line with the vision to improve road safety in the emirates of Abu Dhabi.

Tech firm Ademia and Alliance Traffic Systems has partnered with Abu Dhabi Police, these firms will provide technology based traffic management solutions in the emirate.

The new technology that will be launched is a multi target tracking high tech radar integrated with very sharp camera, which can simultaneously monitor multiple traffic lanes.

This customized high technology device, called MESTAfusion, will offer additional functionality and weather monitoring as well.

This initiative is in line with the vision to enhance road safety in the emirates of Abu Dhabi and will help to reduce roads accidents.

Major Muhammad Abdullah Al-Zaabi, Head of Traffic Technical Systems Section at the Security Systems Department of the Abu Dhabi Police, said

"The move comes as part of the Abu Dhabi Police's efforts to improve traffic safety for drivers and road users and to prepare for the next 50 years and keep pace with development, to make the United Arab Emirates one of the best country in the world".
