Education Commission (HEC), Pakistan is implementing a Project “Higher
Education Development in Pakistan (HEDP)” funded by World Bank. The coordination Unit for this Project (HEDP) has been set up under the (HEC). The services of a highly
professional, motivated, and eligible candidate on a contract basis required for
PCU based in Islamabad. If you fulfill the below criteria you are invited to apply for the following position: -

Required Experience, Qualification
& Competencies
A University degree (16 years of
education) is required from a well-known national / international university.
Experience should be ten (10) years’ (after
acquiring the stipulated qualification) with at least three (3) years of working on
procurements in good’s category & Consultant Services in any sector.
Must have proficiency in the usage
of MS Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint) computers desktop application,s and
office software packages (word processing, spreadsheet, etc.) and should have experience
in handling web-based information and data management systems.
Should be skilled in speaking and written
communication in substantive and technical areas.
The capability of working independently
with excellent writing, editing, and analytical skills.

7.37 of (July 2016) revised November 2017 and August 2018 “World Bank:
Procurement Regulations for Investment Project Financing Goods, Works,
Non-Consulting and Consulting Services”.

World Bank’s “Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers” July 2016 (revised
November 2017 and August 2018) (“Procurement Regulations”), setting forth the
