Anyone who wish to explore the job opportunities in the United Arab Emirians will be given a visit visa without requiring a sponsor or host within the UAE for one trip. Validity of job seeker visit visa has the options for 60, 90 or 120 days.


What is the Eligibility Criteria for a jobseeker visa


For the purpose of searching job opportunities in the country, following conditions are required to fulfil by the applicant to get the visa:

There are 9 professional levels of employment define by the MOHRE according to the International Standard Classification of Occupations (ISCO) issued by the ILO (International Labour Organization).

3: Technicians in Humanitarian Fields, Scientific and Technical Areas

How to Prepare for a Job Interview


Labour is defined as skilled work force if it met the below listed conditions:

The worker should be at a professional level (amongst the one from first to fifth level as mentioned above)

The worker has got certificate higher than the secondary certificate or an equivalent certificate

The certificate should be verified / attested by the concerned authorities

Worker’s monthly salary (excluding commission) should not be less than AED Four (4,000) Thousand Dirhams.

Specified specialization for scholarships

The Universities and Programs should meet the following criteria:

According to the MOE (Ministry of Education, UAE) approved list, for the concerned specialization must be ranked within the top fifty (50) universities.

Ranked within the top two hundred (200) universities for the concerned specialization and top two hundred (200) overall, according to the approved list of MOE (Ministry of Education, UAE) in all countries of study except Australia & USA.

Ranked within the top one hundred (100) universities for the concerned specialization and top one hundred (100) overall, according to the approved list of MOE (Ministry of Education, UAE) in each of Australia & USA.

It should be in one (1) of the countries specified by the MOE (Ministry of Education, UAE).

The person should have a bachelor's degree or equivalent education.

The person should fulfil the financial guarantee as prescribed.

  • Required a passport copy of the applicant
  • Attested qualification certificates required
  • The Applicants Iranian Censenamah / ID card
  • Health Insurance which covers the duration of stay
  • Pakistani Smart ID card for the applicant
  • Afghan ID card for the applicant
  • Iraqi Population Card for the applicant

  • Certified account statement

 

How to get visa from GDRFAD

(General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs – Dubai)


Via Online 

  • You can visit the official website from around the globe “www.gdrfad.gov.ae” to apply for your visa:
  • Register a new account if you don’t have the one to get started.
  • Select your required service
  • Attach the required documents
  • Pay the required fees
  • Submit your application
  • You will receive you entry visa (visit/jobseeker visa) via e-mail.

 Via Amer Centers (Only from Inside the UAE)

  • You can get the visa from Amer Centers by visiting any center personally.
  • You can locate the nearest center by using google maps or any other maps.
  • Get the information from the center's receptionist to get started
  • Provide the required documents to the concern staff
  • Pay the required fees
  • At the end you will receive the visa via e-mail.

 

Note: You will receive the updates of your application by email or text message.

If there is any missing document you will be informed to attach the missing documents within 30 days and if you unable to provide the required document within the given 30 days’ time your request will be automatically canceled.

 

Fees as per GDRFAD

Please note that the below fees means if your visa is being processed in the Emirates of Dubai where the service provide is GDRFAD*

For 60 days cost AED 555.75

For 90 days cost AED 685.75

For 120 days cost AED 815.75

In case the entry permit (visa) is issued within the UAE, additional amount of AED 650 will be charged.

One trip financial guarantee is AED 1000

Please note that if your visa is being applied from any other Emirates (except Dubai) like Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, Ajman, Umm Al Queen, Ras Al Khaimah, Fujairah the below fees schedule will apply.
